BACKDAV
“An unheard theme song for you, that no one knows yet.”
BACKDAV is a rock band that composes music centered around the world of a single story—like an anime or a film. Screams, tears, determination—carrying every emotion in their sound, they let their story resonate at the backs of those who are lost.
Formed in October 2016 in Tokyo, this four-piece alternative rock band has steadily built its name through consistent music releases, entrance restrictions at the circuit event “RAISE UP 2023,” and sold-out one-man live shows. In 2025, an official bassist joined the lineup, further accelerating their momentum.
Torakemist
Formed in June 2017 in Sapporo, Torakemist is an “ignition-type fire-attribute rock band.” With explosive live performances that set stages ablaze, they sold out their hometown two-man show in 2018. In 2019, they moved their base to Nagoya, overcoming numerous challenges, and in 2021, with the addition of drummer Shinya, the current lineup was completed.
They have achieved sold-out shows at venues such as Nagoya ell.SIZE and events like “Meriken Rock.” In April 2025, they released their nationwide EP FLAMMA and successfully completed a 15-show national tour. The tour finale, a one-man show at Nagoya ell.FITS ALL, was also a huge success.
Torakemist ignites the hearts of their audience and spreads rock like a blazing inferno, continuing their mission to “carry rock into the future.”
ADLER°
Formed in 2018, this four-piece band began activities the same year.
They were a live-focused band, performing around 100 shows annually since their formation. However, in 2023, both the bassist and drummer left.
Taking this opportunity, the band shifted focus to songwriting, with all recordings now completed as home recordings by Naoh Ishikawa.
They blend various genres into poppy, catchy songs, creating experimental and highly flexible music that can only be achieved through home recording.
SUGARLUNG
SUGARLUNG is a rock band with a bass-vocal style that began activities in July 2017.
The band consists of two members: Masataka Ezaki on vocals and bass, and Kensuke Ishikawa on guitar and chorus.
Their large-scale, stadium-like sound and versatile song style, combining soft and strong expressions, captivate many listeners.
In 2018, just one year after their formation, they won RO JACK for ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2018 and performed at one of Japan’s largest music festivals, ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2018.
They have held five of their own events, VOLTAGE, all of which were successful. In 2020, under the concept of “preventing infection spread to audiences × supporting live houses × continuing artists’ activities and expression” during the COVID-19 pandemic, they held two no-audience live-stream events titled twilight city.
In 2021, they uploaded demo tracks monthly to their YouTube channel, expanding their freedom of expression and musical range. In September of the same year, two CDs previously sold only at venues or online were made available at Tower Records.
In May 2022, they won the grand prize at ROAD TO JAPAN JAM 2022 and performed at the large rock festival JAPAN JAM 2022, receiving strong reactions from rock fans.
